Balsamic Caramel Popcorn

Balsamic Caramel Popcorn

Makes: 8 servings

3 tbsp Butter Infused Olive Oil 
1/2 cup kernel popcorn
3/4 sugar
2 tbsp local honey
2 tbsp Torino Chocolate Dark Balsamic
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch sea salt

Preheat oven to 325°.
Heat 2 tbsp Butter Olive Oil in pot, add 1/2 cup kernels, and pop 3-5 minutes.
Place 1 tbsp of Butter Olive Oil in saucepan.  Add sugar and honey and Chocolate Balsamic and stir to dissolve sugar.  Bring to a steady simmer without stirring 3-5 minutes. Carefully add baking soda and stir.
Pour over popcorn and stir.
Spread popcorn mixture on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm!
